Welcome to my teacher page! I am proud to serve as the Literacy Coach for both South Buffalo Elementary and Buffalo Elementary, as well as the RtII Coordinator at Buffalo. In my role as Literacy Coach, I support teachers by providing the latest research-based, evidence-aligned strategies to effectively teach reading. This is achieved through dynamic professional development sessions and classroom lesson modeling, all centered around a structured literacy approach.
Prior to this position, I gained valuable experience teaching first, second, and third grades, served as the Gifted Support Teacher, and worked closely with small groups as an interventionist.
I am a graduate of Freeport High School (Class of 1990) and Penn State University (Class of 1994). In 2024, I earned my Reading Specialist certification with a Dyslexia Teaching Certificate from Carlow University.
