I am currently the Gifted Support Teacher and RtII Coordinator at Buffalo Elementary School. As the Gifted Support Teacher, I meet with gifted students at least two days each week to provide challenging content in the areas of Reading and Math. In the role of RtII Coordinator, I am responsible for gathering and analyzing data, and discussing the information with classroom teachers to help meet the needs of all students. During Flex time, I may meet with struggling students to remediate the curriculum, or provide enrichment opportunities for those that have demonstrated a need.
Before arriving in my current position, I taught first, second, and third grades at both Buffalo Elementary and briefly at Freeport Elementary.
I am a 1990 graduate of Freeport High School and a 1994 graduate of Penn State University.
